RORY KAVANAGH IS FIRST CHAIR OF NEW BODY TO PROMOTE GAELIC GAMES IN SCHOOLS

first_imgST EUNAN’S captain and former Donegal star Rory Kavanagh is the chair of a new body aimed at promoting gaelic games in schools.Following the success of last year’s Letterkenny and District Gaelic Football League organised by Jim Clarke and Ciaran Gallagher, a committee to keep it going has been formed.The committee is made up of teachers concerned with the promotion of Gaelic football and associated skills in Letterkenny and the surrounding areas. The committee is chaired this year by Rory.It is hoped that these primary students through participation will learn the skills of teamwork and fair play.
