Caliente expands Playtech BGT terminals across entire Mexican estate

first_img Mexican gambling operator Corporación Caliente, a subsidiary of Grupo Codere España has announced that it will upgrade its entire sports betting provisions utilising Playtech BGT systems and terminals.Agreeing on new terms, Caliente, Mexico’s leading gambling enterprise, will move to launch Playtech BGT Self-Service Betting Terminals (SSBTs) across its estates and premises.Playtech has acted as lead casino systems supplier for Caliente since 2014, the new agreement sees the partnership expand its omni-channel dynamics, adding sports betting services to Caliente’s inventory.Armin Sageder, CEO, Playtech BGT Sports, said: “Our partnership with Caliente has gone from strength to strength and we continue to experience significant growth. The extension of our relationship into Retail reflects the success we have achieved to date and the opportunities we both see lying ahead.”“Mexico is a fast-growing, regulated market and a strategically important territory for Playtech.”Playtech initial SSBT roll-out will cover a dozen Caliente casino properties, representing a significant LATAM expansion for the FTSE technology group.Backing Playtech as technology lead, Victor De La Fuente, Business Development Director at Caliente, added:“This is an exciting moment for Caliente as we further develop the experience we offer those who visit our casinos.
